The Brunswick Business Incubator (BBI) provides premises, advice, services and support to new and emerging businesses to assist them to become established and profitable.
BBI tenants are provided with their own workspace and a supportive environment in which to grow their business. They share the incubator’s premises and have access to a range of support services.
The BBI can accommodate up to 55 businesses and provides opportunities for tenants to refer clients to one another and to participate in a range of learning and networking activities.
The aim of the incubator is for start up businesses to graduate after 3 years and relocate to commercial accommodation when they are commercially viable.
The BBI also operates as a Business Enterprise Centre (BEC). In our role as a BEC we provide free, confidential and professional advice to people thinking of setting up or who are currently operating a small business.
The Incubator opened in July 2002, and is jointly funded under the Commonwealth Government’s AusIndustry Small Business Incubator Program, the Moreland City Council and the Victorian Government.
